Alec Litowitz

Alec Litowitz is a seasoned finance and investment professional, recognized as the Founder of Magnetar Capital since January 2005. In addition to this role, Alec serves as a Director at Star Peak Corp II and previously held the position of Director at Star Peak Energy Transition Corporation. Alec is also the Founder and Managing Director of Reimagined Ventures, alongside being a Board Member for Black Opal Beauty. Previously, Alec held significant roles at Citadel LLC as Principal and Global Head of Equities and at J.P. Morgan as an Investment Banking Associate. Alec's educational background includes a BS in Mathematics and Anthropology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a JD and MBA from the University of Chicago.
