Robert Stapel

Robert Stapel currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Black River Memorial Hospital, a position held since July 2016. Prior to this role, Robert held various leadership positions at the United States Department of Defense from July 2008 to July 2016, including Chief of Police and Operations Captain. Robert also worked at the Jackson County Sheriff's Department as Jail Administrator and Captain from July 2004 to July 2008, and served as a State Trooper at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation from December 1996 to July 2004. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Military Policeman for the United States Department of Defense from February 1989 to February 1995. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Western Governors University and various specialized trainings from institutions such as the US Army Military Police School and the National Institute of Corrections.
