Jan van der Kamp is a Lead Software Engineer at Black Shamrock, with previous experience as a Senior Client Core Tech Engineer at DIGIT. Prior to that, Jan worked as a Senior Games Developer at Boon Studios Ltd. and as an Engineer at PlayFirst, Inc. Additionally, Jan has served as an Engineering Intern at Swrve and as a Research Assistant at Trinity College Dublin. Jan holds a Master of Science in Interactive Entertainment Technology from Trinity College Dublin.

Black Shamrock is a co-development games studio that specialises in the creation of AAA RPG and action-adventure titles for PC and consoles. Managed by game industry veterans, the studio was acquired by Virtuos, the global leader in video games content production. A part of Black Shamrock's activity is now dedicated to co-development on major titles in collaboration with studios from all around the world.
