Danika Gloege

Danika Gloege has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Senior Insights Consultant at Black Swan Data since March 2022. Prior to this role, they served as an Insights Consultant at the same company from August 2020 to March 2022, and as an Insights Associate from January 2019 to August 2020.

Before their time at Black Swan Data, Danika worked as a Counterterrorism Intelligence Analyst and Lead EUCOM Editor at The Counterterrorism Group from June 2018 to December 2018. Danika also held the role of Watch Officer during the same period, where they monitored and evaluated open-source intelligence, produced daily security reports and threat assessments, and conducted investigations to understand evolving geopolitical situations.

In 2016, Danika served as a Graduate Research Assistant for Dr. Maryam Deloffre at Arcadia University. Their responsibilities included conducting investigations and legal research for academic articles, preparing literature reviews, and analyzing global health governance and policies.

Danika also gained experience as a Research & Communications Intern at The Atlantic Club of Bulgaria in June and July 2017. In this role, they directly assisted Dr. Solomon Passy, the founding president of the organization, and conducted research to support democracy and NATO relationships.

Danika's work experience further includes a role as a Research Assistant for Dr. Stephenie Chaudoir at the College of the Holy Cross from January 2016 to May 2016. Their tasks involved managing a project on cortisol levels and stress triggers, conducting interviews and surveys, and collecting saliva samples from participants.

At Clark University, Danika served as an Administrative Assistant for the Dean of Students from January 2013 to May 2016. Danika assisted in daily office operations, provided exceptional customer service, and handled various administrative tasks. Additionally, they held positions as a Proctor, Research Assistant for Dr. Johanna Vollhardt, Horn of Africa Blogger, Research Fellow, and Peer Learning Assistant during their time at the university.

Before entering the professional world, Danika worked as an Assistant Pre-School Teacher at Sprague High School from February 2012 to June 2012.

Danika Gloege earned their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Clark University from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they also pursued a minor in International Development Social Change and focused on Peace and Conflict. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's Degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution at Arcadia University from 2016 to 2017.
