Black Thrive
Damilola Bamidele is an experienced leader in programme delivery and grant management, currently serving as the Head of Programme Delivery at Black Thrive since February 2025, focusing on addressing mental health inequalities in Black communities. Previously, Damilola held the position of Head of Programmes at UK Community Foundations from January 2021 to January 2025, overseeing national grant programmes aimed at community improvement. Other roles include Programme Manager for the Youth Endowment Fund at Social Investment Business, Grants and Programmes Manager at DM Thomas Foundation for Young People, and Grants and Education Manager at The Furniture Makers Company. Damilola's earlier experience encompasses roles in welfare fundraising, strategic development, and administrative support across various organizations. Damilola holds a PGCert in Grantmaking, Philanthropy and Social Investment from Bayes Business School and a BA (Hons) in European International Studies from the University of Hull.
