Owais Farooqi

Owais Farooqi, PE, MASCE, is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as Associate Vice President and BV Operations-Engineering & Development Services Resource Leader for Black & Veatch in India since June 2006. Throughout the tenure at Black & Veatch, Owais has held several key positions, including Regional Civil Leader and Head of Civil Engineering-Water, demonstrating expertise in project management and engineering leadership. Prior to this role, Owais worked as Deputy Manager (Civil) at Maruti Udyog Limited from 1998 to 2004. Owais holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, attained between 2004 and 2006, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, completed in 1998.
