Sachin Ghangurde

Sachin Ghangurde is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Chief Mechanical Engineer at Black & Veatch since November 2014. In this role, Sachin is responsible for technical risk review and management for various energy proposals, including hydrogen generation and combined cycle power plants, as well as progress reviews of ongoing projects. Prior to this, Sachin held the position of Lead Mechanical Engineer, overseeing engineering efforts for CFBC and combined cycle power plant projects. Previous roles include Senior Engineer at Bechtel India, where Sachin led teams for combined cycle power plant projects, and Assistant Manager at TATA Power, focusing on owner's engineering for power projects. Sachin's career began at Mahanagar Gas Ltd. as an Executive. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduation in Project Management from NICMAR University, a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Power Plant Engineering from the University of Mumbai, and a Renewable Energy Expert Certificate from the European Energy Centre.
