Daniel Flores is an experienced district manager with a strong operational background in the restaurant industry. Currently serving as District Manager at Black Walnut Café since August 2017, Daniel has previously held senior managerial positions including District Manager at MOD Pizza, Director of Operations at Creek Group, and Senior Regional Manager at Freebirds World Burrito. Daniel's career began as Regional Manager of Operations at Cafe Express, where tenure lasted from June 1997 to June 2012. An alumnus of the University of Houston, Daniel has demonstrated a consistent commitment to operational excellence and team leadership throughout a diverse career.

With an inventive, extensive menu and a put-you-at-ease atmosphere, Black Walnut Cafe emerged in 2002 as a contemporary destination for hungry Houstonians, and we’ve been savoring the fun ever since. Encouraged by our fellow Black Wal-“nuts”, we have since expanded across Texas with locations in Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth. Since our creation we’ve had the continued desire to create a space where casual comfort welcomes a cultivated palate — your go-to place for a quick burger, a leisurely brunch, or simply just because.
