Nikki Scott

Paralegal Manager, Private Client at Blackadders

Nikki was born in Utah and grew up in rural Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Religious Studies and a Certificate in Medieval Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002, after returning to school as a “mature” student. She received a full scholarship to do a Master’s degree in Muslims, Globalisation and the West from the University of Aberdeen through the Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education and received a Master of Letters in 2011.

She joined Blackadders LLP as a Legal Secretary/Personal Assistant in 2015 and moved on to be an Executry Paralegal in 2016. Nikki covers all aspects of Estate and Executry Administration which might include obtaining Confirmation, liaising with HMRC to settle any Inheritance Tax, arranging for the sale of stocks and shares, dealing with Legal Rights claims, ingathering all funds and settling any debts due by the estate.
