Susan Nelson

Susan Nelson has extensive experience in account management and business development within the nonprofit and corporate sectors. At Blackbaud, from March 2004 to August 2023, Susan held roles as Senior Principal Account Executive and Senior Director of Corporate Impact Partnerships, focusing on enhancing organizational impact through software solutions and securing corporate sponsorships for educational initiatives. Prior to this, as an Account Executive, Susan supported nonprofits with online communication and fundraising strategies. At Firefly Partners, from May 2021 to July 2022, Susan built strategic relationships to address significant social challenges through digital marketing. Earlier, as Business Development Director at Micro-Documentaries LLC from February 2013 to May 2021, Susan managed client relationships and produced impactful short films for social enterprises. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from Gustavus Adolphus College.
