Sebastiaan Ratha

Sebastiaan Ratha has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Sebastiaan has held various roles in different companies.

Sebastiaan started their career at Amsterdam Capital Trading in 2009, where they initially served as a Sales Trader before being promoted to the position of Executive Director. In this role, they were responsible for heading the Northern Europe division and managing key clients. Sebastiaan reported to the managing directors and handled budgeting, hiring, training, new business development, and crisis management. Sebastiaan worked at Amsterdam Capital Trading until June 2013.

Following their time at Amsterdam Capital Trading, Sebastiaan joined Arete Caerus Group B.V. as a Managing Partner. At Arete Caerus, they oversaw the development and implementation of automated algorithmic trading strategies on derivatives markets. Sebastiaan also managed the investment fund and handled general management, investment policy, and investor relations. Sebastiaan worked at Arete Caerus Group B.V. from January 2013 to March 2015.

Sebastiaan then joined Converge, a distributor of electronic components and a subsidiary of Arrow Electronics, as a Global Director. In this role, they focused on business intelligence and strategic growth initiatives. Sebastiaan served at Converge from May 2015 to February 2018.

After their tenure at Converge, Sebastiaan became a part of Codator, a platform specializing in divorce-related solutions. Sebastiaan started as the COO, managing general operations, inbound sales, service delivery, and product management. Later, Sebastiaan was promoted to the position of Partner, contributing to the company's overall success. Sebastiaan worked at Codator from May 2018, and as of now, their employment there is ongoing.

Currently, Sebastiaan Ratha holds the position of Head of Sales at blackbear | hassle-free outsourcing. This company acts as a marketplace for short-term Challenges, providing companies with the right skillsets for efficient work completion. Sebastiaan ensures value-for-money by allocating payments to Solvers based on output rather than hourly rates. Sebastiaan served as Head of Sales from September 2021 to December 2022. Subsequently, they were promoted to Head of Operations, and their employment with blackbear is ongoing starting from January 2023.

Sebastiaan Ratha pursued their education between 2002 and 2012 at the University of Twente. During this time, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Financial Engineering and Management.
