Jason Jantzi

Jason Jantzi, P.Eng. has extensive experience in the field of RF engineering and IoT technologies, currently serving as Principal IoT RF Engineer at BlackBerry since February 2009, where involvement includes BlackBerry's Asset Tracking solution, BlackBerry RADAR. Previously, Jason held the role of Team Lead for RF Design, leading engineers to develop next-generation smartphones, including the BlackBerry Passport. Prior to BlackBerry, experience includes positions as RF Systems Design Team Lead at Icera Inc., RF Systems Hardware Engineer at Sirific Wireless, RF Designer at Elektrobit/Nokia, DSP Software Developer at dspfactory Ltd, Microwave Engineer at COM DEV, New Product Introduction Engineer at Newbridge Networks, and Component Engineering at AlliedSignal Aerospace. Jason Jantzi holds an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering with a Management Sciences option from the University of Waterloo.
