Karim Taaam

Karim Taaam is an accomplished technology and finance professional with extensive experience across multiple sectors. As a founding member and Director of Engineering at BLACKBIRD.AI since June 2021, Karim has built data processing pipelines and managed the engineering team. Previously, as Chief Technology Officer at VOW, Karim successfully transitioned from a full stack developer to expanding the team and product features. Karim also founded Qodash, Inc., focusing on text mining and AI value extraction. Prior experience at HSBC included roles as Index Exotic Derivatives Trader, LATAM Equity Derivatives Trader, and Equity Exotic Correlation Trader, where Karim led numerous trading initiatives and developed quantitative models for complex financial instruments. Early in their career, Karim contributed to Société Générale as a Commando Team Tactical Developer, delivering significant trading tools. Karim holds a Master of Engineering in Financial Mathematics from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble.
