Kate Glazebrook is the Head of Impact & Operating Principal at Blackbird Ventures. Kate was previously the CEO and Co-Founder of Applied, an award-winning tech platform that takes the bias out of hiring decisions. Founded on the best behavioural research, Applied helps organisations to find the best person for the job, regardless of their background.

Kate is passionate about helping teams find the best talent and benefit from diversity, and they believe that science and data helps us achieve that. That's why they also published all our research and findings at www.beapplied.com/blog. Prior to their work at Applied, Kate served as the Principal Advisor, Head of Growth and Equality at The Behavioural Insights Team and as a Policy Associate on the Senate Finance Committee (Tax Team) at the United States Senate.

Kate Glazebrook's educational career includes a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School of Government, a Bachelor of Economic and Social Sciences (First Class Honours) from University of Sydney, and an exchange program at Lund University. Kate is currently enrolled in a summer program called "The Economics of Digital Platforms" at ScholarSite.

They are on a team with Alex Gifford - Chief of Staff, Investments, Becca Kennedy - Executive Assistant (Nick Crocker and Sam Wong) & Auckland Office Manager, and Nina Miller - Compliance & Risk Manager. Kate Glazebrook reports to Alex Apoifis, Partner, Chief Operating Officer.
