Victor Cuellar CPA

Victor Cuellar CPA has a comprehensive work history in accounting and finance. Victor began their career as a Credit Technician at Northwest Bank in 1995, where they gained experience in credit analysis. In 2000, they worked as an Accounting Intern at Dresser Valve Division.

In 2001, Victor joined Melton & Melton, LLP as a Staff Accountant, where their responsibilities included performing audit procedures, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and carrying out various tasks under the guidance of a senior accountant. Victor later transitioned to IKON Office Solutions as an Accountant, handling fixed assets accounting, balance sheet account reconciliations, and analysis of expense and revenue accounts.

Victor's career progressed to their role at Cal Dive International, where they served as the Manager of Consolidations and Financial Reporting. In this position, they were responsible for consolidating multiple general ledgers, preparing monthly financial reports, and acting as a liaison between the company and external auditors. Victor also took on the role of Project Accountant, leading a global effort to reconcile liability accounts, perform variance analysis, and analyze monthly P&Ls.

Moving on, Victor worked at Oxy as an Accounting Supervisor for the Midstream Development group. Victor oversaw the accurate representation of financials, led monthly financial review meetings, and implemented analytical techniques resulting in a reduction of accounting department headcount.

Victor then became an Accounting Manager at Moda Midstream, where they successfully transitioned accounting and reporting functions after an acquisition. Victor also established procedures for monthly management reporting, led the annual budgeting process, and collaborated with operations management.

Most recently, Victor joined Enbridge as an Accounting Supervisor. Their responsibilities included managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing support related to Oracle and Supply Chain processes.

Currently, Victor is serving as the Corporate Controller at Blackbuck Resources, a position they assumed in 2022.

Victor Cuellar CPA obtained their Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Houston Christian University, from 1996 to 2000. Victor later obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in August 2012.
