Michael Walker is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the derivatives brokerage sector. Serving as the Managing Director at BlackBull Markets since December 2017, Michael oversees strategic direction, company goals, and new business development while chairing the board of directors. As a Co-Founder of BlackBull Markets from August 2014 to September 2017, Michael played a pivotal role in launching the brokerage, achieving substantial trading volume growth and establishing essential legal frameworks. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Derivatives Proprietary Trader at a Family Office, where responsibilities included identifying trading opportunities and managing a trading team. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Auckland and a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
