James A. Steffen

James A. Steffen, CPA, has extensive experience in the accounting field, currently serving as a Senior Tax Manager at Blackburn, Childers & Steagall, PLC since November 2015. Prior roles at the same firm included Tax Manager and Supervisor. James began their career as a Staff Accountant at Dent K. Burk Associates, P.C. from January 2012 to October 2015, and previously gained experience as a Financial Services Intern at Scottrade between March 2009 and May 2011. James holds a Master's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, both from East Tennessee State University, with studies completed between 2006 and 2015.
