Martin Hamer

Martin Hamer currently serves as the Head of Performance for Blackburn Rovers Ladies since April 2023. Previously, Martin worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for Scotland Rugby League Limited from September 2022 to May 2023 and held the same position at Bradford Bulls RLFC from June 2021 to April 2023, focusing on academy development and assisting the first team. Prior to this, Martin was a Health and Fitness Tutor at The Training Room from July 2014 to November 2022. Martin is pursuing a Master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, and holds a degree in Sport Studies and Sport Development from Lancaster University. Educational background includes attendance at Blue Coat School in Oldham from 2000 to 2007.
