Brian Hill

Brian Hill has a long and varied work experience. Brian began their career in 1997 as a Non Commissioned Officer In Charge-TSgt (E-6) in the US Air Force Reserve. In 2000, they joined the Anoka County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff and Detective. In 2015, they were appointed Vice President of Corporate Investigative Services at Computer Forensic Services. In 2016, they were elected Second Vice President of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA). In 2018, they began roles at Metropolitan State University as Community Faculty and Oxygen Forensics, Inc. as Director of Training. In 2019, they joined Cargill as a Forensics Investigations Advisor. In 2021, they were appointed Manager of Security Operations at Arctic Wolf. Currently, they are the Director of Security Operations at BLACKCLOAK.

Brian Hill has an education history that includes a Master's Degree in Security Technologies (MSST) from the Technological Leadership Institute, University of Minnesota, which they obtained in 2016. Brian also has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, which they obtained in 2015. Additionally, they have an Associate's Degree in Law Enforcement from Alexandria Technical and Community College, which they obtained in 2000. Brian also has a number of certifications, including XRY Certification from MSAB (2017), Forensic Explorer Certified Examiner from GetData Forensics (2016), Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) from CornerHouse (2014), OFS - Oxygen Forensic Suite User Certification from Oxygen Forensic (2013), and POST licensed (Peace Officer Standards and Training) from Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (MN) (2000).
