Achilles Cortez, PMP®

Achilles Cortez, PMP® has 8 years of experience in project management. Achilles began their career in 2005 as a Production Scientist III - Molecular Biology Manufacturing at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Life Technologies). In 2009, they were promoted to Project Manager - New Product Introduction and Project Lead - Molecular Biology Manufacturing. In 2013, they moved to Algenol Biotech as a Program Manager. In 2016, they joined QOL Medical LLC as a Corporate Project Manager. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Pharma Tech Industries as a Senior Director of Project Management and Director of Project Management. In 2021, they moved to August Bioservices, LLC as a Director Project Management. Achilles is currently employed at Black Diamond Networks as the Director of Project Management.

Achilles Cortez, PMP® has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Louis University (PH). Achilles also holds a Project Management Certificate Program from The University of Texas at Austin and a Molecular Biology Certificate Program from Smith College. Additionally, they have obtained an ESET Cyber Security Awareness Training Certificate from ESET North America in 2021 and is certified as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
