Sylvain Morisot has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Sylvain began their career in 2001 as a Software Engineer at BioKinetics Ltd, where they developed a dynamic link library for communication between USB drivers and an application software. Sylvain also designed embedded software for controlling a wireless irrigation system.
In 2004, Sylvain joined Alcatel Business Services as a Software Integration Engineer, focusing on the integration of new features and writing test procedures.

Currently, Sylvain is working at Blackford Analysis, where they have held several roles, starting as a Senior Software Engineer in 2020. Sylvain was responsible for the development of a Saas Marketplace and Analytics product for service line AI apps with a focus on radiologists. Sylvain worked on developing the product from specifications to MVP release, with a backend emphasis. Sylvain later became a Technical Lead, followed by a promotion to a Software Team Lead in June 2022.
Sylvain Morisot has a strong education background in computer science and electronics. Sylvain began their education in 1997, when they enrolled in the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (I.U.T) de Troyes in France. Sylvain completed their degree in Electronics and Computer Science in 1999, earning a University Diploma of Technology.
Following this, Sylvain Morisot pursued further education at ENIB, where they studied Computer Science and Electronics from 1999 to 2002. During this time, they obtained a French (National) Engineer diploma, which is equivalent to a Master of Engineering degree. Their studies at ENIB focused on areas such as virtual reality, human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and industrial engineering.

Blackford’s tools use cutting-edge algorithms and takes advantage of multi-core processing technologies to allow near-instant registration of scans, including scans from different sources.In 2013 the company announced its first product integrations into commercial image viewers, and has ever since been working in partnership with multiple imaging system providers such as Philips, Intelerad Medical Systems and Viztek to name a few.Blackford also works with a number of companies outside diagnostic imaging on helping them deliver enhanced outcomes and better products. An example of this is our long standing product development engagement with Optos and engineering giant Rolls Royce.The company has grown substantially over the past few years with sales offices in both the UK and the USA.
