Melanie Wheeler, CPA, CA, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Global Accounting at Blackhawk Network since December 2010, Melanie has progressed through several positions, including Director of Accounting and Senior Manager - Accounting. Prior to this, Melanie worked as an Online Facilitator for Private Consulting, focusing on advanced accounting and tax instruction for students at the CA School of Business. Earlier career highlights include a Supervisory role in Assurance at Smythe Ratcliffe LLP and serving as a Personal Assistant to Managing Directors at Blenheim Chalcot. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with Honors in Accounting and Finance from UBC Sauder School of Business and a Paralegal degree in Business Administration and Management from Montrose School of Business.
