David Mindell

David Mindell is an accomplished historian and engineer with extensive experience in aerospace engineering, robotics, and technology. As a co-founder of Unless since January 2022, David Mindell also serves as a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where research focuses on the interactions between humans and machines in extreme environments for over twenty-five years. In addition, David Mindell founded Humatics in 2015, acting as CEO and Executive Chairman, leading the development of innovative microlocation systems and analytics software. As an operating partner at Blackhorn Ventures since 2021, David Mindell leverages expertise to advance technological ventures. David Mindell holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Literature from Yale University.
