Mark Loch

Mark Loch joined Blackhorn Ventures in 2017 as an Operating Partner and is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, providing board and advisory support to portfolio companies, cultivating strategic partnerships, and extending Blackhorn’s strategy and operating model.

He has nearly four decades of experience launching and building new business and social impact enterprises; working in both consumer-facing and technology-enabled industrial sectors as an advisor, investor, and entrepreneur.

Prior to Blackhorn, as a Managing Director (now emeritus) at McKinsey & Company, Mark helped design and launch business development and growth strategies in Africa, Latin America, and the U.S. This included leading more than 100 individual growth initiatives and helped launch more than forty new business, product, and service development offerings. He got his beginning at Procter & Gamble where he developed his passion and experience for creating new products and businesses.

Mark currently lives and works outside Boulder, Colorado.
