Melanie Illies

Melanie Illies is an experienced product professional with a diverse background in product management and leadership roles. Currently serving as Director of Product and Head of Product at Blacklane since April 2022, Melanie has also been a Freelance Product Manager since March 2020. Previous positions include Product Manager at Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and Product Owner at kollex, among others. With a solid foundation in the industry, Melanie has contributed to multiple organizations, including Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA and Bonial.com, where roles included Product Lead and Agile Project Manager. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Hochschule Mittweida, completed in 2010.
