Dirk Bellefontaine

Dirk Bellefontaine has 29 years of SAP ERP experience, specializing in the end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) process. Currently serving as a Senior Value Architect at BlackLine since January 2021, Dirk previously held the role of Solution Design Closing & Service Manager at Bayer Business Services from February 2001 to December 2020, focusing on the solution design and implementation of BlackLine Smart Close, achieving significant automation in closing steps. Prior to this, Dirk was a Project Manager and Team Lead at RWE AG, where responsibilities included leading the implementation of SAP R/3 and managing finance support processes. Dirk began a career as a Senior Consultant at Accenture, engaging in various finance and accounting projects across different industries. Dirk Bellefontaine holds a Dipl.-Kfm. degree from the University of Cologne, earned between 1986 and 1991.
