Cameron Nichols

Cameron Nichols is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software and hardware design, currently serving as the Senior Software Engineer and Developer Support Lead at Blackmagic Design since October 2016. Previous roles include Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Blackmagic Design, Senior Xilinx Field Applications Engineer at Avnet from April 2010 to September 2016, and Hardware/Firmware Engineer at Star Intellect Pty. Ltd. from June 2009 to February 2010. Cameron has also held positions as Electronics Engineer at Compumedics, Firmware Engineer at Integrian, R&D Engineer at RTUnet, and Design Engineer at NEC Australia. Cameron holds an Engineering (Hons) degree in Computer Systems from the University of Tasmania, earned between 1997 and 2000.
