Hook Stowers

Hook Stowers is an experienced product manager in imaging technology, currently working at Blackmagic since August 2014. Stowers has contributed significantly to projects involving color science, new image sensors, and the development of Blackmagic RAW, a video codec, along with its public SDK. Prior to this role, Stowers served as a product specialist where feedback contributed to camera design and user interface enhancements, earning a Reddot Design award in 2016. Stowers' background also includes positions as a director, photographer, head engineer, and owner of recording studios, alongside a professional music career as a guitarist and producer.
