Karlo Stephen Brillantes has extensive work experience in various finance roles. Karlo Stephen started their career at L'Oréal Philippines Inc as a Jr. Finance Manager, where they successfully implemented cost-saving strategies and managed a local defense against a tax audit. Karlo Stephen then joined Procter & Gamble Asia Pte Ltd as a Senior Controls Analyst, leading internal audits across different subsidiaries to identify and address process irregularities. After that, they worked at Procter & Gamble Distributing Philippines, Inc as a Corporate Forecaster, Stewardship Manager, and Senior Baby Care Analyst, delivering accurate profit forecasts used for decision-making by senior management. Karlo Stephen then moved on to Procter & Gamble, where they served as the Financial Accounting Services - Asia Cluster Leader, overseeing the preparation of financial statements and reports for the APAC region. Subsequently, they joined Procter & Gamble Australia Pty Ltd, where they held various roles, including ANZ Finance Director, Corporate Strategy and Execution, Commercial Finance Manager, and ANZ Sales Comptroller. In these roles, they played a key role in driving profitable growth, resource prioritization, and effective management of trade funds. Most recently, they are working as the Global Head of Revenue Management at Blackmores Group.

Karlo Stephen Brillantes completed their education at the University of the Philippines from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a BS degree in Business Administration and Accountancy. Karlo Stephen obtained additional certifications throughout their career, including becoming a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in May 2007, and a Certified Public Accountant from the Professional Regulation Commission in October 2005. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from CPA Australia in July 2017.
