Dan Cookson

Dan Cookson is an experienced coach and educator currently serving as a Foundation Phase Coach at Blackpool Football Club since September 2019 and as a Post Graduate Teacher Apprentice at Lancashire County Council since September 2020. Previous roles include Sports Development Co-ordinator and Development Squad Manager at AFC Fylde, as well as various coaching positions with One Goal Ltd and Red Bull New York. Dan's earlier career included customer service roles at major organizations such as the Royal Bank of Scotland and The Co-operative Bank. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Central Lancashire and has completed a BTEC National Diploma in Public Services and a GNVQ in Business Studies from Runshaw College.
