Andrew Gidney

Andrew Gidney has extensive experience in the finance and technology sectors, currently serving as the COO for Technology & Operations and Head of Enterprise Solutions at BlackRock since 2005. In this role, Andrew leads a 4,000-person organization focusing on financial, risk, change, and talent management, while also overseeing Enterprise Solutions including Real Estate and Digital Workplace Technology. Previous positions at BlackRock include Global Head of Portfolio Compliance and COO of BLK Trust Company, as well as Managing Director responsible for Business Infrastructure Services. Prior to BlackRock, Andrew held the position of Business Finance Officer at Barclays Global Investors and served as CFO at iAsiaWorks, Inc. Andrew began his career at PwC as a Senior Associate after earning a BA in Economics from the University of Leeds.
