Damien Morgenstond

Damien Morgenstond, CFA, currently serves as the Director and Head of Asset Managers at BlackRock Netherlands, overseeing Private Markets, Active Investment Funds, ETF, and Index Investments since September 2019. Previously, Damien held the position of Director, Head of Institutional iShares Netherlands, focusing on ETF and Index Investments. Prior to BlackRock, from September 2015 to August 2019, Damien was with ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as the Manager of the Global Markets Trainee program and as the Director of Global Markets eCommerce, responsible for electronic platform trading in Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives, and FX. Damien's career began at ING, where positions included Financial Markets eCommerce and Fixed Income execution, and Senior Associate in European Equity Products Sales. Damien holds a Master of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Finance from the University of Amsterdam, along with the CFA charterholder designation from the CFA Institute.
