Debarshi B.

Debarshi B. is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience at BlackRock since October 2014, currently serving as Managing Director, where leadership of a research team has driven approximately $70 billion in investments. Previously, Debarshi held positions as Director and Head of Quantitative Research for the BlackRock Sustainable Investing team, as well as Vice President, focusing on quantitative signal research and portfolio construction with iShares ETFs and BlackRock Mutual Funds. Early career experience includes roles at Texas Instruments as a SPICE Modeling Specialist, and a graduate internship at Intel working on EUV mask defect mitigation. Debarshi holds a Master of Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, a PhD and MSE in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and completed high school in Durgapur specializing in Science.
