Dr. Dirk Klee

Dr. Dirk Klee is a seasoned financial executive with extensive leadership experience across various prestigious institutions. Currently serving as the Country Head for Switzerland at BlackRock since October 2024, Dr. Klee previously held significant roles including Member of the Board of Directors at VP Bank AG and Senior Adviser to the Board and CEO at Bitcoin Suisse AG. Dr. Klee's previous positions include CEO of Wealth Management & Investments at Barclays UK, COO of International Wealth Management at UBS, and CEO for Germany, Austria, and Eastern Europe at BlackRock. Dr. Klee's career began in law as an Attorney at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Educational achievements include a Master’s Degree in Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Doctorate in Law from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and ongoing executive courses at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Singularity University.
