Kundan Trehan

Kundan Trehan is a seasoned finance professional with over 19 years of experience in the field of financial modeling and analytics, currently serving as Managing Director at BlackRock since August 2012. Kundan leads various teams specializing in corporate transition data and sustainability analytics, focusing on transition finance capabilities and risk management for both BlackRock and its clients. Prior to this role, Kundan held multiple leadership positions at BlackRock, overseeing modeling efforts in sustainability, climate analytics, and consumer credit. Kundan also has significant experience at Nomura and Lehman Brothers, specializing in MBS/ABS deals in European markets, and has a background in structured product pricing at Countrywide. Kundan began a professional career as a System Analyst at the Royal Bank of Scotland, following an educational background in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
