Marinos Kintis

Marinos Kintis, PhD, is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as the Director of Platform Engineering at BlackRock since August 2025. Previously, Marinos held several roles at FanDuel from January 2021 to July 2025, including Senior Staff Data Platform Engineer, Lead Data Platform Engineer, and Senior Data Engineer. Prior experience includes positions as a Software Engineer at ASML and Senior Software Engineer In Test at OTHERA. Marinos began academic contributions as a Research Associate at the University of Luxembourg from September 2016 to March 2019 and has extensive teaching experience at Athens University of Economics and Business, where Marinos was a PhD Candidate and Teaching Assistant. Marinos Kintis earned a Ph.D. in Program Analysis and Testing, an MSc in Information Systems, and a BSc in Informatics from the same institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in software engineering and systems analysis.
