Philip Fisher-Ogden is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software engineering and system reliability across high-profile technology firms. At YouTube from July 2022 to June 2025, Philip served as Director of Engineering for both the YouTube Commerce Platform and Site Reliability Engineering, ensuring platform reliability across diverse content areas. Prior experience at Netflix spanned almost nine years, where Philip held multiple director roles, including leading Product Edge Systems and Discovery & Playback Services, focusing on optimizing user experiences through reliable API frameworks and playback systems. Philip's career began at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and included significant roles in software engineering that laid the groundwork for expertise in data systems and application development. Philip holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, and has completed graduate-level coursework at Stanford University.
