Mitch Motlagh

Mitch Motlagh is an Associate at BlackRock, specializing in private credit since March 2024. Prior to this role, Mitch served as an Associate at VMG Partners from September 2022 to March 2024, contributing to investments in transformative consumer and technology companies. Mitch began a career in finance as an Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore, focusing on Industrials M&A from July 2020 to August 2022, and also completed summer analyst positions at Evercore in Mergers & Acquisitions and JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Media & Telecoms during 2019 and 2018, respectively. Mitch has a strong foundation in leadership from active duty as a Petty Officer Second Class in the U.S. Coast Guard from 2009 to 2015 and as a reservist until 2020. Mitch graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Wesleyan University in June 2020.
