Nitya Gopalakrishnan

Nitya Gopalakrishnan is a seasoned technology executive with over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Technology Platform and Product for Aperio and Active SMA at BlackRock since May 2000, Nitya has held various leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer for Active SMA, Director of BlackRock Platform Integration, and Vice President of Aladdin Engineering. Prior to BlackRock, Nitya worked as a Sr. Systems Analyst at Whittman-Hart and as a Systems Analyst at The Miami Herald. Nitya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University and has also pursued further education at Florida International University.
