Romit Lalla

Romit Lalla is a seasoned finance and technology professional with extensive experience at BlackRock since September 2008, where current roles include Managing Director and Director, with a focus on core transaction processing and ETF platforms in the APAC region. Previous experience includes leadership positions in the ETF Platform and significant contributions to order management and data provisioning for market participants. Lalla's earlier career includes consultancy roles at Merrill Lynch and Barclaysglobal, as well as a senior consultancy position at Headstrong, where contributions were made to Morgan Stanley's electronic tools. An academic background features a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Certified Advanced Risk Management degree from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
