Steve Latto is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive experience in regulatory oversight, compliance, and operational management. Currently serving as Director of Transfer Agency Services at BlackRock since October 2022, Steve previously held key leadership roles at abrdn, where responsibilities included regulatory oversight and reporting. With a strong background in client assets operational oversight and investor services at Aberdeen Standard Investments and Aberdeen Asset Management, Steve has demonstrated expertise in navigating complex financial regulations. Earlier career experiences include significant roles at Alliance Trust Savings and KPMG, specializing in commercial development, pensions, compliance, and auditing. Steve holds an M.B.A. from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Accountancy with First Class Honours from the University of Dundee.
