Sungwon Kim

Sungwon Kim is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and banking. Currently serving as a Director at BlackRock since October 2016, previous roles there include Vice President, Associate, and Analyst. Prior to BlackRock, Sungwon worked at PwC as an Experienced Associate in Banking and Capital Markets, as well as an Assurance Intern in the Insurance Group. Sungwon's background also includes experience as an Accounting Analyst and Research Assistant at Boston College's Controller's Office and Accounting Department, respectively. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Peacekeeping Operations Specialist at the United Nations and completing military service in the Republic of Korea Army. Sungwon holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting, graduated summa cum laude from Boston College Carroll School of Management, and has a Chinese minor. Education was also received at the International School of Qingdao from 2001 to 2009.
