Tim Yao is a CPA (Hong Kong), CPA (China), CFA, and holds an LLM in Civil and Commercial Law from Renmin University of China. They currently serve as Vice President of Alternatives Product Tax at BlackRock since 2021. Previously, Tim worked as an International Tax Manager in the Mergers and Acquisitions team at Deloitte from 2012 to 2021, and earlier held roles as an Audit Trainee at KPMG and a Temp Executive Assistant in the Finance Division at the Hospital Authority. Tim also pursued an exchange program in Financial Management at The University of New Mexico in 2010 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
