Tarik Softić

Tarik Softić has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2017 as a Software Developer at AnkoraINC. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Student Teaching Assistant at Technische Universität Graz, and then continued in the same role from 2020 to 2021. During their time at Technische Universität Graz, Tarik also worked at Medizinische Universität Graz as a student researcher, focusing on applying Machine Learning algorithms and models for the classification of histopathological images. Tarik utilized explainable AI techniques to interpret the results and increase the trust medical professionals have in machine predictions. Tarik Softić is currently employed as a Machine Learning Engineer at blackshark.ai, starting in March 2021.

Tarik Softić obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo. Tarik attended this institution from 2015 to 2018. Subsequently, Tarik pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Graz. Tarik completed their master's degree program from 2018 to 2020.
