Manash Goswami

Manash Goswami is the CFO at BlackSquare. Manash has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry.

Manash started their career as an Associate Equity Research at Scotiabank. Manash then worked as a Summer Associate on the Deal Execution Team at Coventree Capital. In 2007, they joined First Asset as a Portfolio Manager. Manash was part of the management team that grew the ETF business to a top five market share in Canada before it was acquired by CI Financial in 2017.

From 2017 to 2019, Manash was the Senior Vice President, Head of ETF Portfolio Management at CI Investments Inc. Manash oversaw and traded $8B in AUM and was recognized by Brendan Woods International as one of Canada's top ranked portfolio managers, achieving Platinum Class by being named TopGun Investment Minds in Canada consecutively from 2013 to 2018. Manash also won the Fundata A+ Award (2019, 2018, 2017) and Lipper Award (2019, 2018, 2017).

In 2019, Manash joined BlackSquare as the CFO. Manash is responsible for the financial planning and analysis of the company.

Manash Goswami has an MBA from Ivey Business School at Western University, and a BAH in Biology and Economics from Queen's University.
