Alicia Novak

Alicia Novak is a seasoned compliance professional currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer at Blackstone Life Sciences since July 2025. Prior experience includes roles at HarbourVest Partners, where Alicia held positions as Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, and Vice President and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer from September 2020 to February 2025. Alicia also served as Vice President of Compliance and Risk at F-Prime Capital from May 2019 to September 2020, a role that involved leading compliance for Fidelity’s venture capital arm focused on life sciences, healthcare, and technology. Previous positions include Director of Global Sanctions & Anti-Corruption at Brown Brothers Harriman, and various attorney roles at Legility and Nutter. Alicia's legal foundations were established as a Legal Writing Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and as a Clerk for the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Alicia holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a BA with honors in Political Science and Anthropology from The Johns Hopkins University.
