Nikolas Takacs

Nikolas Takacs is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory and compliance roles across the financial and international trade sectors. Currently serving as Lead Product Counsel at Ramp since September 2025, Takacs previously held significant positions at Airwallex, including Associate Director of Regulatory Legal and Compliance for the Americas and Senior Regulatory Counsel. Prior to Airwallex, Takacs was Senior Product and Regulatory Counsel at Marqeta and held various counsel roles at Visa, Wells Fargo, and Armstrong Teasdale LLP, focusing on anti-money laundering, sanctions, and international trade compliance. Takacs earned a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a B.A. in Hispanic Studies and International Relations from William & Mary.
