Ian Booth

Ian Booth currently serves as the Head of International Operations and Managing Director at Blackstone Credit and Insurance, overseeing operations in EMEA and APAC since September 2025. Prior to this role, Ian held the position of Managing Director and EMEA Head of Transaction Management at Citi, leading the wholesale lending middle office from June 2022 to August 2025. Ian's extensive experience includes serving as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Risk, at Deutsche Bank for over two decades, alongside key roles focused on loan portfolio management. Ian began his career as a Senior Chartered Accountant at William Buck after earning a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide and an ACA in Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
