Mike Saylor has over 27 years of experience in IT, Cybersecurity, Consulting, Litigation Support, and Risk Management. Mike is currently the CEO of Blackswan Cybersecurity, LLC, which provides affordable and effective information security safeguards. Mike also serves as a professor of cybersecurity at The University of Texas at San Antonio and a wilderness search and rescue technician at TEXSAR: Texas Search and Rescue. Additionally, they have been an executive director at Cyber Defense Center, a fusion liaison officer at North Texas Fusion Center, and a member, sector chief, president & chairman, and vice president of the board of directors at FBI Infragard North Texas. Mike has also served on the cybercrime committee at North Texas Crime Commission and as an advisory board member at 6DOS. Saylor's experience as a public speaker includes presenting on various topics such as cyber terrorism, information security strategy, and protecting financial data at several conferences and organizations nationwide. Finally, they were a professor of cybersecurity and digital forensics at Collin College until August 2021.
Mike Saylor has an impressive education history. Mike completed their Doctor of Business Administration degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at Northcentral University in 2020. Previously, they earned a Master's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2013.
