Charles Berolzheimer's work experience began in 1983 when they held various staff positions at P&M Cedar Products, Inc. Charles worked in Quality Control, Operations Research, Marketing & Sales functions. The company operated 5 sawmills and 3 finished product remanufacturing facilities, producing a variety of lumber and paneling products.

In 1989, Berolzheimer became the VP/General Manager of P&M Consumer Products, Inc, a spinoff subsidiary focused on consumer wood products. Charles consolidated the company with other key market players in the Aromatic Cedar products field before eventually selling it to another industry player.

Berolzheimer then served as the General Manager of The Lodge on Little St. Simons Island, where they managed the transition of the island into an ecotourism destination and implemented sustainable practices.

In 1992, they served as the Foreign Operations Manager at P&M Cedar Products, Inc, before moving on to become the VP - Sales & Operations Research at California Cedar Products Company in 1996.

In 2000, Berolzheimer became the Chairman & CEO of California Cedar Products Company, leading the company's innovation in pencil market through various brands.

Charles later served as the Director at Duraflame, Inc in 2004 before becoming the Managing Principal at Blackwing LLC - B3 Ventures LLC in 2009.

Currently, Berolzheimer serves as the CEO of Blackwing, where they have grown the brand into a culture that encourages and empowers creativity, and supports music and arts education at the K-12 level.

Charles Berolzheimer attended the Cate School for their secondary education. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management Science at UC San Diego from 1978 to 1982. Years later, in 1993 and 1994, they enrolled in the Sloan Fellowship Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they obtained a Master's degree in Management.
